The rooftop

The reason people book this house

A private terrace above Roma Norte: a long tiled dining table, a grill, a bar area, a daybed in the shade and the whole sky over it. Sunset drinks, one long dinner, and nobody has to go anywhere.

A long tiled table

Set for the whole group under the open sky. Bring a chef up, or grill it yourselves.

Grill and bar

A grill and a bar area up top, so at least one night of the trip happens at home.

Daybed lounge

Shade, olive trees and somewhere to lie down — the part of the house people use all afternoon.

Private to you

No shared terrace, no other guests. It is yours for the length of the stay.

Where you'll be

Roma Norte

The louder, younger half of the city's centre. Galleries and mezcalerías, the best cooking in Mexico City within a few blocks, and something open late. Everything you'd take a taxi for is a walk instead.

Ten minutes from Casa Atlixco, our garden house in La Condesa — take both and you sleep thirty.

Can we have a party or an event on the rooftop? +

A group dinner, a birthday, drinks at sunset — yes, that is what the terrace is for. What we don't take is an event with outside guests arriving, or amplified music late: we have neighbours on both sides and we'd like to keep them. Tell us what you're planning when you book and we'll be straight with you about what works.

Is it really cheaper to book here than on Airbnb? +

Yes. The house is listed on Airbnb too, and it costs more there — the platform adds a guest service fee on top of the same nightly rate. Booking on this site skips it, and you get us directly instead of a message relay.

Can we book a single room? +

No — and that's deliberate. Each booking takes the whole house, so there are never other guests, and the kitchen and the rooftop belong to your group for the length of the stay.

Can you arrange a chef or a driver? +

Both, on request. A cook for the mornings, a chef for one long dinner on the roof, a driver for the week, or groceries in the fridge before you land — tell us what the trip is for when you book and we'll put it together.

How safe is Roma Norte? +

It's one of the most walkable parts of Mexico City and you'll be walking to dinner most nights. The house has private parking off the street, and the concierge is reachable at any hour of your stay.

What happens if our plans change? +

Cancel 30 or more days before arrival and you're refunded in full. Between 29 and 7 days, half. Inside 7 days the booking is non-refundable — ask us anyway, because we'd rather move a date than lose you.
