La Condesa is organized around two beautiful green spaces. A few blocks north, the smaller Parque España hosts open-air art shows and weekend markets. Connecting it all is Avenida Amsterdam, a circular, tree-lined promenade that traces the old racetrack and makes for the perfect slow morning loop with a coffee in hand.

Coffee and slow mornings

Condesa runs on good coffee. Blend Station is the local institution — airy, plant-filled, and full of laptops and cold brew. Saint pours design-forward specialty coffee, while Cafebrería El Péndulo pairs espresso with a bookstore and a leafy terrace, ideal for a rainy afternoon. Any of them is a five-to-ten-minute stroll from a Condesa villa, which is the whole point of staying here: your morning ritual is just around the corner.

Where to eat, from tacos to Michelin

The food range is remarkable for such a compact area. For a special dinner, Esquina Común serves seasonal, produce-driven plates and recently earned a Michelin star, while Baldío has made a name with its bold, fully zero-waste kitchen. When you want the real, unfussy Mexico City taco experience, El Greco Taquería is beloved for its tacos árabes and al pastor, and Tacos Hola El Güero is the classic guisado counter locals have loved for decades.
