Why one house, not hotel rooms

Breakfast in the garden, dinner at one long table

One kitchen

Breakfast happens in one kitchen instead of five hotel rooms, and nobody has to text the group to find out where everyone went.

The courtyard

The house wraps around a planted courtyard with seating, just off the living and dining rooms. French doors open onto it, so the kids run in and out while the grown-ups finish their coffee.

The grandparents' floor

Two of the six bedrooms are on the ground floor, next to a half bathroom, so nobody has to climb the spiral staircase to get to bed. The showers are upstairs. Tell us who is coming and we suggest who sleeps where.

On request

A chef, so nobody spends the reunion in the kitchen

Everything here is an add-on, priced by group size and menu. Tell us about the birthdays, the allergies and the dish your grandmother still talks about.

  • In-house chefMost families book it for one big dinner at home and a relaxed lunch. The chef cooks, serves and cleans up.
  • The fridge, before you landA grocery run so there is milk, coffee and something for dinner when the first flight gets in.
  • Airport transfersA driver can meet the grandparents at the airport, or one van for everyone arriving on the same afternoon.
  • A quiet afternoonA massage, reiki or a sound bath at the house for anyone who needs one, or a private yoga class in the courtyard.
  • A day out, arrangedA boat day on the canals at Xochimilco or a morning at Teotihuacán, booked for the whole family with transport there and back.

A reunion weekend, sketched

Three days at Casa Atlixco

One way the weekend can run. The Enterra team arranges any of it, and you keep only what you want.

  • Friday, arrivalsA driver meets the grandparents at the airport, and the fridge is already stocked when they walk in. Dinner at the long table, with a chef who cooks, serves and clears up.
  • Saturday morningBreakfast in the courtyard, then an eight-minute walk to Parque México with the kids.
  • Saturday, a day outA boat on the canals at Xochimilco or a morning at Teotihuacán, with transport there and back, and home in time for dinner.
  • Sunday, the send-offA slow breakfast in the courtyard, a cake if someone's birthday falls that weekend, and airport runs whenever the flights leave.

Good to know

What reunion planners ask us

How many people can stay?

Up to 14 in Casa Atlixco's 6 bedrooms and 7 beds.

What if we're more than 14?

Casa Mérida in Roma Norte sleeps 16 and is a ten-minute drive away. Some families take both houses and meet for dinner; together they sleep 30. See how the two houses work for large groups.

Is the house OK for grandparents?

Yes. Two of the six bedrooms are on the ground floor, next to a half bathroom, so nobody has to climb the spiral staircase to get to bed. The showers are upstairs. Tell us who's coming and we suggest who sleeps where.

Can we bring the kids?

Yes. Children are welcome, and the courtyard is where they end up. Tell us ages when you book so we can set the rooms up right. The tap water in the house is filtered, so nobody carries garrafones.

How does the hold and payment work?

Tell us the dates and we hold them for 48 hours with no deposit while your group agrees. Then half when you book and the balance seven days before arrival, which is easier to collect from everyone in two steps.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% up to 7 days before, and no refund after that. A refundable security hold (USD 500) is placed the day before you arrive and released two days after you leave.
